Genesis 9:6-8

Good News Translation

⁶^(A)Human beings were made like God, so whoever murders one of them will be killed by someone else.

⁷^(B)“You must have many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth.”

⁸God said to Noah and his sons,

Genesis 9:6-8

New International Version

⁶“Whoever sheds human blood,
by humans shall their blood be shed;^(A)
for in the image of God^(B)
has God made mankind.

⁷As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it.”^(C)

⁸Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him:
