Genesis 8:21-22
New American Standard Bible
21 The Lord (A)smelled the soothing aroma, and the Lord said [a]to Himself, “I will never again (B)curse the ground on account of man, for (C)the [b]intent of man’s heart is evil from his youth; (D)and I will never again [c]destroy every living thing, as I have done.
22 While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
(E)Summer and winter,
And (F)day and night
Shall not cease.”

8 Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying, 9 “Now behold, (A)I Myself am establishing My covenant with you, and with your [a]descendants after you; 10 and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the livestock, and every animal of the earth with you; of all that comes out of the ark, every animal of the earth. 11 I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall (B)never again be eliminated by the waters of a flood, (C)nor shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.” 12 God said, “This is (D)the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for [b]all future generations; 13 I have set My (E)rainbow in the cloud, and it shall [c]serve as a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth. 14 It shall come about, when I make a cloud appear over the earth, that the rainbow will be seen in the cloud, 15 and (F)I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and (G)never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 When the rainbow is in the cloud, then I will look at it, to remember the (H)everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” 17 And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.”

35 This is what the Lord says,
He who (A)gives the sun for light by day
And the [a]fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
Who (B)stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—
(C)The Lord of armies is His name:
36 “(D)If [b]this fixed order departs
From Me,” declares the Lord,
“Then the descendants of Israel also will (E)cease
To be a nation before Me [c]forever.”
37 This is what the Lord says:
“(F)If the heavens above can be measured
And the foundations of the earth searched out below,
Then I will also (G)reject all the descendants of Israel
For everything that they have done,” declares the Lord.
