Genesis 7:15-17

15 they came to Noah and entered the ark, two of every creature that breathes. 16 Male and female of every creature went in, just as God had commanded him. Then the Lord closed the door behind them.[a]
17 The flood remained on the earth for forty days. The waters rose, lifted the ark, and it rode high above the earth.

Genesis 7:15-17
New International Version
15 Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark.(A) 16 The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah.(B) Then the Lord shut him in.
17 For forty days(C) the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.
