⁷ And Yahweh said, “^(A)I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the ^[a]sky; for ^(B)I regret that I have made them.”

²⁰ Therefore thus says Lord Yahweh, “Behold, My ^(A)anger and My wrath will be poured out on this place, on man and on beast and on the ^(B)trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground; and it will burn and not be quenched.”

²⁷ Thus you shall say to them, ‘Thus says Lord Yahweh, “As I live, surely those who are in the waste places will ^(A)fall by the sword, and whoever is in the ^[a]open field I will give to the beasts to be devoured, and those who are in the strongholds and in the ^(B)caves will die of pestilence. ²⁸ I will ^(C)make the land a desolation and a desecration, and the ^(D)lofty pride of her strength will cease; and the mountains of Israel will be desolate so that no one will pass through.
