5 This is the record of the generations[a] of Adam. When[b] God created Adam,[c] he made him in the likeness of God. 2 Male and female he created them. And he blessed them. And he called their name “Humankind” when[d] they were created. 3 And when Adam had lived one hundred and thirty years, he fathered a child in his likeness, according to his image. And he called his name Seth.

From Adam to Noah
5 This is the written account(A) of Adam’s family line.(B)
When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.(C) 2 He created them(D) male and female(E) and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind”[a] when they were created.
3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image;(F) and he named him Seth.(G)
