Genesis 47:30-31

New International Version

³⁰but when I rest with my fathers,^(A) carry me out of Egypt and bury me where they are buried.”^(B)

“I will do as you say,” he said.

³¹“Swear to me,”^(C) he said. Then Joseph swore to him,^(D) and Israel^(E) worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.^[a]^(F)

³⁰But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

³¹And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed's head.

³⁰but ^(A)let me lie with my fathers; you shall carry me out of Egypt and ^(B)bury me in their burial place.”

And he said, “I will do as you have said.”

³¹Then he said, “Swear to me.” And he swore to him. So ^(C)Israel bowed himself on the head of the bed.
