²⁹ When the time ^(A)drew near that Israel must die, he called his son Joseph and said to him, “Now if I have found favor in your sight, please ^(B)put your hand under my thigh, and ^(C)deal kindly and truly with me. ^(D)Please do not bury me in Egypt,

¹⁴ So the men answered her, “Our lives for yours, if none of you tell this business of ours. And it shall be, when the Lord has given us the land, that ^(A)we will deal kindly and truly with you.”
