6 And they took their livestock and the possessions which they had acquired in the land of Canaan and came to Egypt, Jacob and all his descendants with him. 7 His sons and his grandsons, his daughters and his granddaughters, and all his descendants he brought with him to Egypt.
Those Who Came to Egypt
8 Now these are the names of the sons of Israel, Jacob and his sons, who went to Egypt: Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn.

6 So Jacob and all his offspring went to Egypt,(A) taking with them their livestock and the possessions(B) they had acquired(C) in Canaan. 7 Jacob brought with him to Egypt(D) his sons and grandsons and his daughters and granddaughters—all his offspring.(E)
8 These are the names of the sons of Israel(F) (Jacob and his descendants) who went to Egypt:
Reuben the firstborn(G) of Jacob.
