Genesis 42:35-37

35 As they emptied their sacks, behold, every man’s bundle of money was in his sack; and when they and their father saw their bundles of money, they were dismayed. 36 And Jacob their father said to them, “You have bereaved me of my children: Joseph is no more, and Simeon is no more, and now you would take Benjamin; all this has come upon me.” 37 Then Reuben said to his father, “Slay my two sons if I do not bring him back to you; put him in my hands, and I will bring him back to you.”

New International Version
35 As they were emptying their sacks, there in each man’s sack was his pouch of silver!(A) When they and their father saw the money pouches, they were frightened.(B) 36 Their father Jacob said to them, “You have deprived me of my children. Joseph is no more and Simeon is no more,(C) and now you want to take Benjamin.(D) Everything is against me!(E)”
37 Then Reuben said to his father, “You may put both of my sons to death if I do not bring him back to you. Entrust him to my care,(F) and I will bring him back.”(G)
