⁸ Now it happened that in the morning ^(A)his spirit was troubled, so he sent and called for all the ^[a](B)magicians of Egypt and all its ^(C)wise men. And Pharaoh recounted to them his dream, but ^(D)there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

²⁷ Daniel answered before the king and said, “As for the mystery about which the king is asking, neither ^(A)wise men, conjurers, ^[a]magicians, nor diviners are able to declare it to the king.

⁷ Then the ^[a](A)magicians, the conjurers, the ^[b]Chaldeans, and the diviners came in, and I said the dream ^[c]to them, but they could not make its ^(B)interpretation known to me.

¹⁵ Just now the ^(A)wise men and the conjurers were brought in before me that they might read this writing and make its interpretation known to me, but they ^(B)could not declare the interpretation of the ^[a]message.
