⁵¹ And Joseph named the firstborn ^[a]Manasseh, “For,” he said, “God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father’s household.” ⁵² And he named the second ^[b]Ephraim, “For,” he said, “^(A)God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

¹⁰ And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and ^(A)he became her son. And she named him ^[a]Moses and said, “Because I ^[b]drew him out of the water.”

²² Then she gave birth to ^(A)a son, and he named him ^[a]Gershom, for he said, “I have been ^(B)a ^[b]sojourner in a foreign land.”

²¹ And she will bear a Son; and ^(A)you shall call His name Jesus, for ^[a]He ^(B)will save His people from their sins.”
