Genesis 40:8

⁸And they replied, “We both had dreams last night, but no one can tell us what they mean.”

“Interpreting dreams is God’s business,” Joseph replied. “Go ahead and tell me your dreams.”

Genesis 40:8

New International Version

⁸“We both had dreams,” they answered, “but there is no one to interpret them.”^(A)

Then Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God?^(B) Tell me your dreams.”

¹⁶“It is beyond my power to do this,” Joseph replied. “But God can tell you what it means and set you at ease.”

¹⁶“I cannot do it,” Joseph replied to Pharaoh, “but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.”^(A)
