^4 (A)Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions. And ^(B)the Lord had regard for Abel and for his offering;

³⁵ so that upon you may fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous ^(A)Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the ^(B)son of Berechiah, whom ^(C)you murdered between the ^[a]temple and the altar.

¹² not as ^(A)Cain, who was of ^(B)the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because ^(C)his deeds were evil, and his brother’s were righteous.
