Genesis 4:23-26
New International Version
23 Lamech said to his wives,
“Adah and Zillah, listen to me;
wives of Lamech, hear my words.
I have killed(A) a man for wounding me,
a young man for injuring me.
24 If Cain is avenged(B) seven times,(C)
then Lamech seventy-seven times.(D)”
25 Adam made love to his wife(E) again, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth,[a](F) saying, “God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him.”(G) 26 Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh.(H)
At that time people began to call on[b] the name of the Lord.(I)

23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.
