Joseph in Prison
21 But the Lord was with Joseph and extended kindness to him.(A) He granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.(B) 22 The warden put all the prisoners who were in the prison under Joseph’s authority,[a] and he was responsible for everything that was done there. 23 The warden did not bother with anything under Joseph’s authority,[b] because the Lord was with him, and the Lord made everything that he did successful.(C)

Genesis 39:21-23
International Standard Version
21 But the Lord was with Joseph. He extended gracious love to him, causing the prison warden to be pleased with Joseph.[a] 22 So the prison warden entrusted into Joseph’s care all the prisoners who were confined in prison. Whatever they did, Joseph was in charge of the work detail.[b] 23 The prison warden did not have to worry about anything under Joseph’s care, because the Lord was with him. That’s why Joseph prospered in everything he did.

New International Version
21 the Lord was with him;(A) he showed him kindness(B) and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.(C) 22 So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.(D) 23 The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s(E) care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.(F)
