Genesis 39:20-23
New King James Version
20 Then Joseph’s master took him and (A)put him into the (B)prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison. 21 But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He (C)gave[a] him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22 And the keeper of the prison (D)committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing. 23 The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under [b]Joseph’s authority, because (E)the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper.

New International Version
20 Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison,(A) the place where the king’s prisoners were confined.
But while Joseph was there in the prison, 21 the Lord was with him;(B) he showed him kindness(C) and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.(D) 22 So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.(E) 23 The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s(F) care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.(G)
