Genesis 39:19-23
English Standard Version
19 As soon as his master heard the words that his wife spoke to him, “This is the way your servant treated me,” his anger was kindled. 20 And Joseph's master took him and (A)put him into the (B)prison, the place where the king's prisoners were confined, and he was there in prison. 21 But (C)the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love (D)and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22 And the keeper of the prison (E)put Joseph in charge of all the prisoners who were in the prison. Whatever was done there, he was the one who did it. 23 The keeper of the prison paid no attention to anything that was in Joseph's charge, because (F)the Lord was with him. And whatever he did, the Lord made it succeed.

New International Version
19 When his master heard the story his wife told him, saying, “This is how your slave treated me,” he burned with anger.(A) 20 Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison,(B) the place where the king’s prisoners were confined.
But while Joseph was there in the prison, 21 the Lord was with him;(C) he showed him kindness(D) and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.(E) 22 So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.(F) 23 The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s(G) care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.(H)
