Joseph said to his brothers, ‘Listen to what happened in my dream: We were out in the field tying the crops together into bundles. Then my bundle stood up. Your bundles stood in a circle round my bundle. And all your bundles bent down to respect my bundle.’

Joseph's brothers said to him, ‘Do you really think that you will be like a king and rule over us like that?’ They hated Joseph even more because of what he told them about his dream.

He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had: We were binding sheaves(A) of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.”(B)

His brothers said to him, “Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?”(C) And they hated him all the more(D) because of his dream and what he had said.
