¹⁹ So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem^(A)).

⁵ It was her custom to sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went up to her for judgment.^(A)

¹⁵ This is what the Lord says:

² Devout men buried Stephen and mourned deeply over him.

⁷ and not only by his arrival, but also by the comfort he received from you. He told us about your deep longing, your sorrow,^[a] and your zeal^(A) for me, so that I rejoiced even more.
