9 In fact, let’s intermarry our families. Give your daughters to us, and take our daughters for yourselves. 10 We’ll live together. The entire land will be open to you. You can live on it, trade on it, and buy property on it.
Shechem (to Jacob and his sons): 11 Please, let me find my way into your favor! Whatever you ask, I will give it to you.

11 Then Shechem said to Dinah’s father and brothers, “Let me find favor in your eyes,(F) and I will give you whatever you ask.
