⁴ and He said to me, ‘Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply, and I will make you an assembly of peoples, and I will give this land to your seed after you for ^(A)an everlasting possession.’

³ Then ^(A)I took your father Abraham from beyond the ^[a]River and led him through all the land of Canaan and ^(B)multiplied his seed and gave him ^(C)Isaac. ⁴ To Isaac I gave ^(D)Jacob and Esau, and ^(E)to Esau I gave Mount Seir to possess it; but ^(F)Jacob and his sons went down to Egypt.
