Genesis 32:27-29

27 Then said he unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
28 And said he, (A)Thy name shall be called Jacob no more, but Israel: because thou hast had [a]power with God, thou shalt also prevail with men.
29 And Jacob demanded, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore now dost thou ask my name? and he blessed him there.

New International Version
27 The man asked him, “What is your name?”
“Jacob,”(A) he answered.
28 Then the man said, “Your name(B) will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,[a](C) because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”(D)
29 Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.”(E)
But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?”(F) Then he blessed(G) him there.
