Genesis 32:27-29
Good News Translation
27 “What is your name?” the man asked.
“Jacob,” he answered.
28 (A)The man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob. You have struggled with God and with men, and you have won; so your name will be Israel.”[a]
29 (B)Jacob said, “Now tell me your name.”
But he answered, “Why do you want to know my name?” Then he blessed Jacob.

New International Version
27 The man asked him, “What is your name?”
“Jacob,”(A) he answered.
28 Then the man said, “Your name(B) will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,[a](C) because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”(D)
29 Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.”(E)
But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?”(F) Then he blessed(G) him there.
