²² And he arose that same night and took his two wives and his two servant-women and his eleven children and crossed the ford of the ^(A)Jabbok.

²⁴ Then ^(A)Israel ^[a]struck him with the edge of the sword and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as the sons of Ammon; for the ^(B)border of the sons of Ammon was ^[b]Jazer.

¹⁶ And to the Reubenites and to the Gadites I gave from Gilead even as far as the ^[a]valley of Arnon, the middle of the ^[b]valley ^[c]as a border and as far as the ^[d]river ^(A)Jabbok, the border of the sons of Ammon;
