7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made loincloths for themselves.
8 When they heard the sound of the Lord God walking about in the garden at the breezy time of the day,[a] the man and his wife hid themselves from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.(A) 9 The Lord God then called to the man and asked him: Where are you?

New International Version
7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked;(A) so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.(B)
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking(C) in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid(D) from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”(E)
