When[a] the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was a delight to the eyes, and the tree was desirable to make one wise, then[b] she took from its fruit and she ate. And she gave it also to her husband with her, and he ate. Then[c] the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed together fig leaves and they made for themselves coverings.

Then[d] they heard the sound of Yahweh God walking in the garden at the windy time of day.[e] And the man[f] and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahweh God among the trees of the garden.

She also gave some to her husband,(B) who was with her, and he ate it.(C) Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked;(D) so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.(E)

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking(F) in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid(G) from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
