^12 (A)Then he had a dream, and behold, a ^[a]ladder stood on the earth with its top touching heaven; and behold, ^(B)the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

¹⁰ Now it happened at the time when the flock were ^[a]mating that I lifted up my eyes and saw in a dream, and behold, the male goats which were ^[b]mating were striped, speckled, and mottled. ¹¹ Then ^(A)the angel of God said to me in the dream, ‘Jacob,’ and I said, ‘Here I am.’

^24 (A)And God came to Laban the Aramean in a ^(B)dream of the night and said to him, “^[a](C)Beware lest you speak to Jacob either good or bad.”
