21 And they dug another well, and strove for that also; and he called the name of it Sitnah [that is, Hatred].

22 And he removed from thence, and dug another well, and for that they strove not; and he called the name of it Rehoboth [that is, Room]. And he said, “For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”

23 And he went up from thence to Beersheba.

21 Then they dug another well, but they quarreled(A) over that one also; so he named it Sitnah.[a] 22 He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth,[b](B) saying, “Now the Lord has given us room(C) and we will flourish(D) in the land.”

23 From there he went up to Beersheba.(E)
