New International Version

⁸Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age,^(A) an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.^(B)

³⁰When I lie down with my ancestors, carry me out of Egypt and bury me in their burial place.” He answered, “I will do as you have said.”^(A)

³⁰but when I rest with my fathers,^(A) carry me out of Egypt and bury me where they are buried.”^(B)

“I will do as you say,” he said.
