Genesis 25:7-11

New Living Translation

⁷Abraham lived for 175 years, ⁸and he died at a ripe old age, having lived a long and satisfying life. He breathed his last and joined his ancestors in death. ⁹His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite. ¹⁰This was the field Abraham had purchased from the Hittites and where he had buried his wife Sarah. ¹¹After Abraham’s death, God blessed his son Isaac, who settled near Beer-lahai-roi in the Negev.

Genesis 25:7-11

International Standard Version

⁷Abraham lived for 175 years,^[a] ⁸then passed away, dying at a ripe old age, having lived a full life, and joined his ancestors.^[b] ⁹His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field that used to belong to Zohar the Hittite’s son Ephron. ¹⁰This was the same field that Abraham had bought from the Hittites, where Abraham and his wife Sarah were buried. ¹¹After Abraham’s death, God blessed his son Isaac, who continued to live near Beer-lahai-roi.

⁷Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years.^(A) ⁸Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age,^(B) an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.^(C) ⁹His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him^(D) in the cave of Machpelah^(E) near Mamre,^(F) in the field of Ephron^(G) son of Zohar the Hittite,^(H) ¹⁰the field Abraham had bought from the Hittites.^[a]^(I) There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah. ¹¹After Abraham’s death, God blessed his son Isaac,^(J) who then lived near Beer Lahai Roi.^(K)
