²⁵ And the first came forth red, ^(A)all over like a hairy garment; and they named him Esau. ²⁶ Afterward his brother came forth with ^(B)his hand holding on to Esau’s heel, so ^(C)his name was called ^[a]Jacob; and Isaac was ^(D)sixty years old when she gave birth to them.

^28 (A)Then He said, “Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but ^[a]Israel; for you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed.”
