14 now may it be that the girl to whom I say, ‘Please let down your jar so that I may drink,’ and [a]who answers, ‘Drink, and I will water your camels also’—may she be the one whom You have appointed for Your servant Isaac; and by this I will know that You have shown lovingkindness to my master.”

15 (A)Before he had finished speaking, behold, (B)Rebekah who was born to Bethuel the son of (C)Milcah, the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor, came out with her jar on her shoulder. 16 The girl was (D)very beautiful, a virgin, and no man had [b]had relations with her; and she went down to the spring and filled her jar and came up.

14 May it be that when I say to a young woman, ‘Please let down your jar that I may have a drink,’ and she says, ‘Drink,(A) and I’ll water your camels too’(B)—let her be the one you have chosen for your servant Isaac.(C) By this I will know(D) that you have shown kindness to my master.”
15 Before he had finished praying,(E) Rebekah(F) came out with her jar on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel(G) son of Milkah,(H) who was the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor.(I) 16 The woman was very beautiful,(J) a virgin;(K) no man had ever slept with her. She went down to the spring, filled her jar and came up again.
