Common English Bible
8 Abraham said, “The lamb for the entirely burned offering? God will see to it,[a] my son.” The two of them walked on together.
9 They arrived at the place God had described to him. Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He tied up his son Isaac and laid him on the altar on top of the wood. 10 Then Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to kill his son as a sacrifice.

8 Abraham answered, “God himself will provide(A) the lamb(B) for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.
9 When they reached the place God had told him about,(C) Abraham built an altar(D) there and arranged the wood(E) on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar,(F) on top of the wood. 10 Then he reached out his hand and took the knife(G) to slay his son.(H)

10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
