7 Then spake Isaac unto Abraham his father, and said, My father. And he answered, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?
8 Then Abraham answered, My son, God will [a]provide him a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both together.
9 And when they came to the place which God had showed him, Abraham built an altar there, and couched the wood, and [b]bound Isaac his son, (A)and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

Genesis 22:7-9
New International Version
7 Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?”
“Yes, my son?” Abraham replied.
“The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb(A) for the burnt offering?”
8 Abraham answered, “God himself will provide(B) the lamb(C) for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.
9 When they reached the place God had told him about,(D) Abraham built an altar(E) there and arranged the wood(F) on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar,(G) on top of the wood.
