²² For ^(A)though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea,
Only a remnant within them will return;
A ^(B)destructive end is decreed, overflowing with righteousness.

³ For ^(A)I will pour out water on ^[a]the thirsty ground
And streams on the dry land;
I will ^(B)pour out My Spirit on your ^(C)seed
And My blessing on your offspring;
⁴ And they will spring up ^[b]among the grass
Like ^(D)poplars by streams of water.’

³ For you will ^(A)spread abroad to the right and to the left.
And your seed will ^(B)possess nations
And will ^(C)resettle the desolate cities.
