¹⁶ and said, “^(A)By Myself I have sworn, declares Yahweh, because you have done this thing and have not spared your son, your only one, ¹⁷ indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly ^(B)multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as ^(C)the sand which is on the seashore; and ^(D)your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. ^18 (E)In your ^[a]seed all the nations of the earth shall ^[b]be blessed, because you have ^(F)listened to My voice.” ^19 (G)So Abraham returned to his young men, and they arose and walked together to Beersheba; and Abraham lived at Beersheba.

²⁰ Now it happened after these things, that it was told to Abraham, saying, “Behold, ^(H)Milcah ^[c]also has borne children to your brother Nahor: ²¹ Uz his firstborn and Buz his brother and Kemuel the father of Aram ²² and Chesed and Hazo and Pildash and Jidlaph and Bethuel.” ²³ And Bethuel ^[d]was the father of ^(I)Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham’s brother. ²⁴ And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, ^[e]also bore Tebah and Gaham and Tahash and Maacah.
