^9 (A)Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him, “What have you done to us? And ^[a]how have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and on my kingdom ^(B)a great sin? You have done to me ^[b]things that ought not to be done.” ¹⁰ And Abimelech said to Abraham, “What have you ^[c]encountered, that you have done this thing?”

¹⁰ And ^(A)Abimelech said, “What is this that you have done to us? One of the people might easily have slept with your wife, and you would have brought guilt upon us.”
