⁵and they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

Genesis 19:5

New International Version

⁵They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”^(A)

¹³for we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it.

¹³because we^(A) are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the Lord against its people is so great^(B) that he has sent us to destroy it.”^(C)
