36 That's how Lot's two daughters had children. 37 The older daughter named her son Moab,[a] and he is the ancestor of the Moabites. 38 The younger daughter named her son Benammi,[b] and he is the ancestor of the Ammonites.

36 So both of Lot’s daughters became pregnant by their father.(A) 37 The older daughter had a son, and she named him Moab[a];(B) he is the father of the Moabites(C) of today. 38 The younger daughter also had a son, and she named him Ben-Ammi[b]; he is the father of the Ammonites[c](D) of today.
