⁴ Let a little water be brought, that you may wash your feet and rest yourselves under the tree.

“No,” they said. “We would rather spend the night in the square.”

²⁴ The steward brought the men into Joseph’s house, gave them water to wash their feet,^(A) and got feed for their donkeys.

²¹ So he brought him to his house and fed the donkeys. Then they washed their feet and ate and drank.^(A)
