God’s Covenant with Abram^(A)

15 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram ^(B)in a vision, saying, ^(C)“Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your ^(D)shield, ^[a]your exceedingly ^(E)great reward.”

⁶ I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make ^(A)nations of you, and ^(B)kings shall come from you.

^7 (A)But the children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly, multiplied and ^[a]grew exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them.

²⁹ And ^(A)God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore.

⁴⁷ And Solomon did not weigh all the articles, because there were so many; the weight of the bronze was not ^(A)determined.

Hezekiah’s Wealth and Honor^(A)

²⁷ Hezekiah had very great riches and honor. And he made himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of desirable items;

¹⁷ For ^(A)our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

¹⁹ And my God ^(A)shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

¹⁹ and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, ^(A)according to the working of His mighty power

⁷ that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in ^(A)His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
