Genesis 15:9-11
Christian Standard Bible
9 He said to him, “Bring me a three-year-old cow, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”
10 So he brought all these to him, cut them in half, and laid the pieces opposite each other, but he did not cut the birds(A) in half. 11 Birds of prey came down on the carcasses, but Abram drove them away.

9 So the Lord said to him, “Bring me a heifer,(A) a goat and a ram, each three years old,(B) along with a dove and a young pigeon.(C)”
10 Abram brought all these to him, cut them in two and arranged the halves opposite each other;(D) the birds, however, he did not cut in half.(E) 11 Then birds of prey came down on the carcasses,(F) but Abram drove them away.

10 And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.
