⁵ And He brought him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens, and ^(A)number the stars, if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “^(B)So shall your seed be.”

¹⁷ indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly ^(A)multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as ^(B)the sand which is on the seashore; and ^(C)your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.

¹⁰ Yahweh your God has ^(A)multiplied you, and behold, you are this day like the stars of heaven in number.
