⁷ Then they turned back and came to En-mishpat (that is, ^(A)Kadesh). And they struck all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, who were living in ^(B)Hazazon-tamar.

⁶² and Nibshan and the City of Salt and Engedi; six cities with their villages.

^29 [a]Then David went up from there and stayed in the strongholds of ^(A)Engedi.

David Does Not Kill Saul

24 Now ^(B)when Saul returned from pursuing the Philistines, ^(C)he was told, saying, “Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi.”

² Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, out of ^[a]Aram and behold, they are in ^(A)Hazazon-tamar (that is Engedi).”
