⁷ Then they turned back and came to En-mishpat (that is, ^(A)Kadesh). And they struck all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, who were living in ^(B)Hazazon-tamar.

² Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, out of ^[a]Aram and behold, they are in ^(A)Hazazon-tamar (that is Engedi).”

¹⁹ “And the ^(A)south side toward the south shall extend from ^(B)Tamar as far as the waters of ^(C)Meribath-kadesh, to the ^(D)brook of Egypt and to the ^(E)Great Sea. This is the south side toward the south.
