13 One of the survivors came and told Abram the Hebrew,(A) who lived near the oaks belonging to Mamre the Amorite, the brother of Eshcol and the brother of Aner. They were bound by a treaty with Abram.

13 A man who had escaped came and reported this to Abram the Hebrew.(A) Now Abram was living near the great trees of Mamre(B) the Amorite, a brother[a] of Eshkol(C) and Aner, all of whom were allied with Abram.
