10 Now the Valley of Siddim was full of (A)bitumen pits, and as the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some fell into them, and the rest fled (B)to the hill country. 11 So the enemy took (C)all the possessions of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their provisions, and went their way. 12 They also took Lot, (D)the son of Abram's brother, (E)who was dwelling in Sodom, and his possessions, and went their way.

10 Now the Valley of Siddim(A) was full of tar(B) pits, and when the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah(C) fled, some of the men fell into them and the rest fled to the hills.(D) 11 The four kings seized all the goods(E) of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food; then they went away. 12 They also carried off Abram’s nephew Lot(F) and his possessions, since he was living in Sodom.
