⁶ And ^(A)the land could not ^[a]support both of them ^[b]while living together, ^(B)for their possessions were so great that they were not able to remain together.

^7 (A)And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. Now ^(B)the Canaanites and the Perizzites were living in the land at that time.

¹² Abram ^[a]settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot ^[b]settled in ^(A)the cities of the ^[c]vicinity of the Jordan, and moved his tents as far as Sodom.
