Genesis 13:11-12

¹¹So Lot chose for himself all the ^[a]vicinity of the Jordan, and Lot journeyed eastward. So they separated from each other. ¹²Abram ^[b]settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot ^[c]settled in ^(A)the cities of the ^[d]vicinity of the Jordan, and moved his tents as far as Sodom.

¹¹So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east. The two men parted company: ¹²Abram lived in the land of Canaan,^(A) while Lot^(B) lived among the cities of the plain^(C) and pitched his tents near Sodom.^(D)
