13 So Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had and Lot with him, into the Negeb.^(A)

New International Version

13 So Abram went up from Egypt^(A) to the Negev,^(B) with his wife and everything he had, and Lot^(C) went with him.

³He journeyed on by stages from the Negeb as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai,^(A)

³From the Negev^(A) he went from place to place until he came to Bethel,^(B) to the place between Bethel and Ai^(C) where his tent had been earlier
